Ministers Ministry – Includes associate ministers and those in training; supports the pastor in preaching, teaching, and worship leadership.
Deacons Ministry – Provides spiritual care and serves alongside the pastor in matters of communion, baptism, visitation, and member care.
Deaconess Ministry – Often partners with deacons, provides support during communion and baptism, and cares for the needs of women in the church.
Trustees Ministry – Manages the legal and financial responsibilities of the church including property, contracts, and facility maintenance.
Spiritual Leadership & Support
Music Ministry – Includes choir(s), praise team, and musicians who lead worship during Sunday services and special events.
Media Ministry – Oversees audio/visual equipment, livestreaming, church presentations, and digital presence during services.
Ushers Ministry – Greets members and guests, assists with seating, and maintains order during services.
Worship & Arts
Children’s Ministry – Focuses on spiritual formation for younger members through Sunday School and youth-friendly programming.
Women’s Ministry – Provides fellowship, spiritual growth, and support among the women of the church. May include events, Bible study, and service opportunities.
Christian Education Ministry – Supports Sunday School, Bible Study, and ongoing discipleship efforts for all ages.
New Members Ministry – Welcomes and orients new members through classes and relationship-building.

Health & Wellness
Health & Wellness Ministry – Provides education and programs related to physical and mental health, often involving screenings, guest speakers, and health fairs.
Kitchen Ministry – Supports the hospitality needs of the church, including meals for events, funerals, and special gatherings.
Community Engagement & Service
David Nickens Heritage Museum Ministry – Preserves and promotes the Black heritage of the church and local community.
Outreach Ministry – Engages in evangelism, local partnerships, and community involvement efforts.
Senior Services Ministry – May include transportation support, senior fellowship events, or coordination with organizations like National Church Residences.
